Is that your real background?
Your background makes an impression. Now, I’m not talking about your employment background, though obviously that’s a thing too.
What I’m talking about is what people see in the frame when they have a virtual call with you. Because mine has generated a lot of buzz with clients, peers, execs, and potential employers
People love it.
My space provides an easy conversation starter when I join a meeting early. The leading question when the next person joins the meeting is: “Is that your real background? It looks so good!” The answer is, yes it is! The subtext is that it’s a visual extension of my taste and personality as a creative.
If you’ve got a blank wall behind you right now, you’re not alone. I’ve talked to so many people who have admired my background and lamented their own.
A blank wall is a great opportunity and I encourage you to make it yours. I’ll link a bunch of resources on where to find art below. But if a blank canvas is intimidating to you and you want help planning the perfect background that reflects your personality and supports working artists, let’s connect. I’d love to help you curate your space!
